View Research Overview & References
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (15 amino acids) originally derived from a protein found in human gastric juice. It has been studied in laboratory research for its interaction with cell signaling pathways related to tissue-level cell behavior.1
Tendon Cell Research
In an animal model study combined with cultured tendon fibroblast experiments, research examined BPC-157’s effects on tendon tissue outgrowth, focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and paxillin signaling, fibroblast migration markers, and cell survival under oxidative stress conditions.2
Gastric Cell Research
Laboratory research has examined BPC-157’s effects on gastric mucosal cell models, including studies on nitric oxide signaling pathways relevant to gastric cell protection mechanisms in animal models.1
Wound Healing Cell Research
Research has examined BPC-157’s effects on skin wound models, including cell migration and tissue-level markers relevant to wound closure research in animal models.3
Important Notice
BPC-157 is provided exclusively for in vitro and in vivo (animal) laboratory research purposes. This peptide is not intended for human or animal consumption or use, and any application outside of controlled laboratory research is prohibited. These findings do not establish safety, efficacy, or suitability for any human or animal application, and have not been evaluated by the FDA or any regulatory agency.
Product Information
BPC-157 is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory research use only.
