IPAMORELIN 2000mcg (Bulk)
View Research Overview & References
Ipamorelin is a synthetic peptide within the growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) family, studied for its dose-dependent stimulation of growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) release in laboratory research. Ipamorelin is intended strictly for in vitro and in vivo (animal) laboratory research and is not approved for human use.
Receptor Selectivity Research
In an in vitro study, Ipamorelin stimulated growth hormone release from primary rat pituitary cells. Further experiments in anesthetized rats and conscious swine examined GH release at various dose levels. Researchers noted that Ipamorelin did not elevate adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) or cortisol levels in these animal models, distinguishing its receptor-signaling profile from traditional growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) stimulation.1
Growth and Body Composition Research
Laboratory research has examined Ipamorelin’s effects on growth and body composition markers in animal models. In one study, chronic administration of Ipamorelin was associated with changes in body weight and bone length markers in treated rats compared to a control group.2,3
Comparative Adiposity Research
A nine-week study in female mice, both with and without induced growth hormone deficiency, compared the effects of Ipamorelin and human growth hormone on weight gain and adiposity markers. Mice received twice-daily injections of Ipamorelin, human growth hormone, or saline. Researchers observed less weight gain with Ipamorelin than with GH treatment across both groups studied, and noted that Ipamorelin did not increase organ weight markers in the animal model, unlike GH, which was associated with increased liver weight in the same study.4
Important Notice
Ipamorelin is exclusively available for in vitro and in vivo (animal) laboratory research and is not suitable or approved for clinical applications. All handling must be performed according to rigorous laboratory protocols. These findings do not establish safety, efficacy, or suitability for any human or animal application, and this product has not been evaluated by the FDA or any regulatory agency.
