IGF-1 LR3 1mg (Bulk)
View Research Overview & References
IGF-1 LR3 is a synthetic peptide variant of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), studied in animal models and in vitro research for its effects related to muscle cell biology, nutrient signaling, and cellular repair pathways.
Fetal Development Research
Research in animal models, including pregnant sheep, has examined IGF-1 LR3’s association with fetal organ growth markers and myoblast proliferation in skeletal muscle, without significant changes to overall fetal weight or nutrient transfer markers observed in these models.1
Intestinal Cell Research
In vivo studies in mice examined IGF-1 LR3’s effects on small intestinal growth markers, noting a comparable effect to natural IGF-1 with a more pronounced influence on mucosal cellularity markers in this animal model, relevant to research into intestinal cell growth mechanisms.2
Muscle and Tumor Model Research
In a mouse tumor model associated with muscle wasting, researchers examined IGF-1 LR3’s effects on muscle preservation markers. In vitro experiments noted an increase in the differentiation index of muscle cells, while in vivo studies observed a limited effect on muscle preservation markers in this model. Researchers also noted that IGF-1 LR3 was associated with increased tumor growth markers in this model, indicating this finding warrants cautious interpretation in any research examining muscle-related signaling in tumor-bearing animal models.3
Important Notice
