IPAMORELIN 2000mcg
View Research Overview & References
Ipamorelin is a synthetic hexapeptide studied for its ability to stimulate growth hormone release in animal studies.1 Acting on the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R), ipamorelin is studied for its effects on growth hormone release from anterior pituitary cells in laboratory research. Research has examined ipamorelin’s pharmacological profile relative to ghrelin, noting a distinct structure of research interest in growth hormone and peptide research.2
Bone Cell Research
In animal model studies, ipamorelin has been examined for its effects on bone mineral content. In an 8-week study, ipamorelin, growth hormone, and other peptides were assessed for their effects on bone growth markers in an animal model, with ipamorelin’s effects on bone mineral content exceeding some other peptides studied while being somewhat less pronounced than growth hormone itself.2
Receptor Selectivity Research
Research has examined ipamorelin’s receptor selectivity profile in animal models, noting that it does not elevate adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) or cortisol levels, nor does it affect luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), prolactin, or thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels in the animal models studied.1
Insulin and Glucose Signaling Research
Ipamorelin has also been investigated in animal model research examining insulin-like growth factor (IGF-I) and insulin release signaling. These studies contribute to basic research on insulin regulation pathways in animal models.3
Important Notice
Ipamorelin is intended exclusively for in vivo (animal) laboratory research and is not for use in humans or animals outside of research environments. This product has not been evaluated for safety or efficacy in humans or animals, and these findings do not establish safety or efficacy for any human or animal application.
Product Information
Ipamorelin is available as a lyophilized white powder in a 2000 mcg vial.
